أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْفَقِيهُ إِمْلَاءً ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَحِيمًا رَقِيقًا فَلَمَّا ظَنَّ أَنَّا قَدِ اشْتَهَيْنَا أَهْلِينَا وَاشْتَقْنَا سَأَلَنَا عَمَّا تَرَكْنَا بَعْدُ فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ فَقَالَ ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهَالِيكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا فِيهِمْ وَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ وَذَكَرَ أَشْيَاءَ أَحْفَظُهَا وَأَشْيَاءَ لَا أَحْفَظُهَا وَصَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Malik ibn al-Huwayirth said: 'We came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and we were young men of similar age. We stayed with him for twenty nights. The Messenger of Allah was compassionate and gentle. When he thought that we missed our families and longed for them, he asked us about those we had left behind, and we told him. He said: Return to your families, stay among them, teach them, and command them - and he mentioned things I remember and things I do not - and pray as you have seen me pray. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you call the adhan, and let the eldest of you lead the prayer.'
