أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرٍو بْنُ مَطَرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْمِرْوَحَةِ فَقَالَ لَا تَتَّخِذْ مَعَ اللهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وقَالَ لَا تَتَّخِذْ لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا صَلِّ قَاعِدًا وَاسْجُدْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَأَوْمِ إِيمَاءً وَاجْعَلِ السُّجُودَ أَخْفَضَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Amr ibn Matar informed us, Yahya ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Jabalah who said: Ibn Umar was asked — and I was listening — about praying on a fan. He said: 'Do not take besides Allah another god' and said: 'Do not take for Allah equals. Pray sitting and prostrate on the ground. If you are unable, then gesture with your head and make the prostration lower than the bowing.'
