أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ ؓ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهَا عُبَيْدٌ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ ﷻ {لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ} [البقرة 225] قَالَتْ حَلِفُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى عِلْمِهِ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ فِيهِ كَفَّارَةٌ كَذَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ata ibn Abi Rabah said: Ubayd ibn Umayr and I were with Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Ubayd asked her about Allah's words: 'Allah will not hold you accountable for idle oaths.' She said: It is when a man swears about something based on what he knows, but then finds it is not so. There is no expiation for that.
