أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ضَحَّى أُتِيَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ مَوْجُوءَيْنِ فَيَذْبَحُ أَحَدَهُمَا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ مَنْ شَهِدَ لِلَّهِ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ وَشَهِدَ لَهُ بِالْبَلَاغِ وَيَذْبَحُ الْآخَرَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْفِرْيَابِيِّ إِذَا ضَحَّى اشْتَرَى كَبْشَيْنِ سَمِينَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ مَوْجُوءَيْنِ فَذَكَرَهُ وَرَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَرَوَاهُ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ فَكَأَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُمَا

Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Sulayman ibn Ahmad al-Tabarani informed us, Ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, al-Firyabi narrated from Sufyan, from Ibn Aqil. And Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd al-Saffar informed us, Hisham ibn Ali narrated to us, Abu Hudhayfah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated from Abdullah ibn Muhammad, from Abu Salamah, from Aisha or Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them) who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed, two horned, salt-and-pepper colored, castrated rams were brought to him. He would slaughter one of them on behalf of his nation - whoever bore witness to Allah's oneness and bore witness to his conveyance of the message - and slaughter the other on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. In al-Firyabi's narration: "When he sacrificed, he would buy two fat, horned, salt-and-pepper colored, castrated rams," then he mentioned it. Hammad ibn Salamah also narrated it from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Jabir, from his father. Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated it from Abdullah, from Ali ibn al-Husayn, from Abu Rafi'. It appears he heard it from both of them.
