أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانُوا يَكْتُبُونَ فِي صُدُورِ وَصَايَاهُمْ هَذَا مَا أَوْصَى بِهِ فُلَانُ بْنُ فُلَانٍ أَوْصَى أَنَّهُ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ وَأَوْصَى مَنْ تَرَكَ بَعْدَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ أَنْ يَتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَأَنْ يُصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ وَيُطِيعُوا اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كَانُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَوْصَاهُمْ بِمَا وَصَّى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ {يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} [البقرة 132]
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas ibn Malik said: They used to write at the beginning of their bequests: 'This is what so-and-so son of so-and-so has bequeathed. He testifies that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, and that the Hour is coming with no doubt in it, and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves. He enjoins those he leaves behind from his family to fear Allah as He should be feared, to reconcile among themselves, and to obey Allah and His Messenger if they are believers. He enjoins them with what Ibrahim enjoined his sons and Ya'qub: O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except as Muslims [Al-Baqarah 132].'
