أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ الْجَدُّ أَبٌ وَقَالَ لَوْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنُّ أَنَّ فِيَ النَّاسِ جُدُودًا مَا قَالُوا {تَعَالَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا} [الجن 3] وَقَرَأَ سُفْيَانُ {يَا بَنِي آدَمَ} [الأعراف 26] {وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ آبَائِي} [يوسف 38]
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id informed us: Abu Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Nasr narrated to us: Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us: Sufyan narrated from Amr from Ata from Ibn Abbas: 'The grandfather is a father.' And he said: 'If the jinn knew that there were grandfathers among people, they would not have said: Exalted is the majesty of our Lord (Quran 72:3).' And Sufyan recited: 'O children of Adam' (Quran 7:26) and 'I followed the religion of my forefathers' (Quran 12:38).
