Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Uqayl ibn Khalid told me, from Ibn Shihab, who said: Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith informed me that he heard Abu Hurairah say: When the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up for prayer, he would say the takbir when he stood, then say the takbir when he bowed, then say "God hears whoever praises Him" when he raised his back from bowing, then, while standing, say "Our Lord, to You belongs praise," then say the takbir when he went down to prostrate, then say the takbir when he raised his head, then say the takbir when he went down to prostrate again, then say the takbir when he raised his head; he did that throughout the entire prayer until he completed it, and he would say the takbir when he stood up from the two rak'ahs after sitting.
