حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَمِّهِ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدْ لَكَ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ تُعَيِّرَنِي قُرَيْشٌ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا حَمَلَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْجَزَعُ لَأَقْرَرْتُ بِهَا عَيْنَكَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِي مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ }.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya narrated to us, from Yazid - meaning Ibn Kaysan - who said: Abu Hazim narrated to me, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to his uncle: "Say 'There is no god but Allah,' and I will testify on your behalf on the Day of Resurrection." He said: "Were it not that Quraysh would reproach me, saying that he was only driven to it by fear, I would gladden your eyes with it." So Allah the Mighty and Sublime revealed: {Indeed, you do not guide whom you like} [al-Qasas 28:56].
