Yahya narrated to us, who said: Awf narrated to us, who said: Muhammad narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "Whoever follows the funeral procession of a Muslim out of faith and seeking reward, prays over it, and stays until it is buried, will return with two qirats of reward, each qirat being like Mount Uhud. And whoever prays over it and leaves before it is buried will return with one qirat."
