Then he said, "Narrate, for we have been forbidden hadith." He said, "I would not narrate while there is with me a man from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and moreover from Quraysh." Abdullah ibn Amr said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "A people will emerge from the direction of the East reciting the Qur'an, but it will not pass beyond their collarbones. Every time a generation is cut off, another arises, until the Dajjal emerges among the last of them."
