حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي جِئْتُ لِأُبَايِعَكَ وَتَرَكْتُ أَبَوَيَّ يَبْكِيَانِ قَالَ فَارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمَا فَأَضْحِكْهُمَا كَمَا أَبْكَيْتَهُمَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Sufyan informed us from Ata ibn al-Sa'ib from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "I have come to pledge allegiance to you, and I have left my parents weeping." He said: "Go back to them and make them laugh as you made them weep."
