Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from az-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, who said: A man stood up in the mosque and called out: From where shall we assume ihram, O Messenger of Allah? He said: The people of Madinah assume ihram from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Syria assume ihram from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd assume ihram from Qarn. He said: And they claim, or they say, that he also said: and the people of Yemen assume ihram from Yalamlam.
