Ishaq told us, Malik told me, from Qatan b. Wahb or Wahb b. Qatan al-Laythi - Ishaq was uncertain - from Yuhannas, the freed slave of al-Zubayr, who said: I was with Ibn Umar when a freedwoman of his came to him and mentioned the hardship of her situation and that she wanted to leave Medina. He said to her: "Sit down, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'No one endures its hardship and difficulty except that I will be an intercessor or a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
