حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّاسُ بِقُبَاءَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ أَتَاهُمْ آتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ قُرْآنٌ اللَّيْلَةَ وَقَدْ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الْكَعْبَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلُوهَا وَكَانَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ إِلَى الشَّامِ فَاسْتَدَارُوا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ishaq told us, Malik informed us, from Abdullah b. Dinar, from Ibn Umar, who said: While the people were at Quba' in the dawn prayer, someone came to them and said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has had Qur'an revealed to him tonight, and he has been commanded to face the Ka'bah, so face it." Their faces had been toward al-Sham, so they turned around to face the Ka'bah.
