حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَرْمُلُ مِنْ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ وَيُخْبِرُنَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرُوا لِنَافِعٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ مَا كَانَ يَمْشِي إِلَّا حِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَلِمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan told us: Sulaym ibn Akhdar told us: 'Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', who said: 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar used to trot briskly from the Stone to the Corner, informing us that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do that. 'Ubaydullah said: They mentioned to Nafi' that he used to walk between the two corners. He said, "He would only walk when he wished to touch the stone."
