حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا صَخْرٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ جَمَعَ بَنِيهِ حِينَ انْتَزَى أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مَعَ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَخَلَعُوا يَزِيدَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّا قَدْ بَايَعْنَا هَذَا الرَّجُلَ بِبَيْعِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْغَادِرُ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْغَدْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ تَعَالَى أَنْ يُبَايِعَ الرَّجُلُ رَجُلًا عَلَى بَيْعِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ يَنْكُثَ بَيْعَتَهُ فَلَا يَخْلَعَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يَزِيدَ وَلَا يُسْرِفَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ فَيَكُونَ صَيْلَمًا فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Samad ibn 'Abd al-Warith told us: Sakhr told us, from Nafi', that Ibn 'Umar gathered his sons when the people of Madinah rose up with Ibn al-Zubayr and deposed Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah, and said: "We have given our pledge of allegiance to this man upon the pledge of Allah and His Messenger, and I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'A banner will be raised for the treacherous one on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said, this is the treachery of so-and-so. And among the gravest of treacheries, apart from associating partners with Allah, the Exalted, is that a man give his pledge to another man upon the pledge of Allah and His Messenger, then break his pledge.' So let none of you depose Yazid, and let none of you go to excess in this matter, lest it become a final rupture between me and you."
