حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ كَأَنَّ الْأَذَانَ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ.

Abu Kamil told us, Hammad informed us, Anas ibn Sirin told us, from Ibn Umar: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray the two rak'ahs before the dawn prayer as if the call to prayer were still ringing in his ears.
