حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ بَيِّعَيْنِ فَلَا بَيْعَ بَيْنَهُمَا حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَا إِلَّا بَيْعُ الْخِيَارِ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abdullah ibn Dinar: I heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Each of the two parties to a sale has the right to cancel as long as they have not separated, except in a sale with an option."
