حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ قَدْ اجْتَمَعُوا فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ وَفِي نَزْعِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ ثُمَّ نَزَعَ عُمَرُ فَاسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا فَمَا رَأَيْتُ عَبْقَرِيًّا مِنْ النَّاسِ يَفْرِي فَرِيَّهُ حَتَّى ضَرَبَ النَّاسُ بِعَطَنٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us, Ibn Jurayj told us, Musa ibn 'Uqbah informed me, Salim told me, from Ibn 'Umar, concerning the vision of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, about Abu Bakr and 'Umar. He said: "I saw the people gathered, and Abu Bakr stood and drew up a bucket or two, and there was some weakness in his drawing - and may God forgive him - then 'Umar drew, and it turned into a huge bucket, and I have never seen any man among the people so masterful in his work, until the people settled at the watering place."
