حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبِيعُونَ لَحْمَ الْجَزُورِ بِحَبَلِ حَبَلَةٍ وَحَبَلُ حَبَلَةٍ تُنْتَجُ النَّاقَةُ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا ثُمَّ تَحْمِلُ الَّتِي تُنْتَجُهُ فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah: Nafi' informed me, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, who said: The people of the pre-Islamic era used to sell the meat of a slaughtered camel for [payment due at] habal al-habala - and habal al-habala is when the she-camel gives birth to what is in her womb, then the one she gave birth to becomes pregnant [and gives birth in turn] - so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade them from that.
