Sufyan narrated to us: he heard Sadaqa [narrate that] Ibn 'Umar said - meaning from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The people of Najd enter ihram from Qarn, the people of Syria from al-Juhfah, and the people of Yemen from Yalamlam" - though Ibn 'Umar had not heard this himself; he had only heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say that the miqat of the people of Madinah is Dhu'l-Hulayfah. They said to him, "Then where is [the miqat] for the people of Iraq?" Ibn 'Umar said: "There were none [Muslims from Iraq] in those days."
