حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ وَإِذَا شَرِبَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan told us, from al-Zuhri, Abu Bakr ibn Ubaydullah ibn Umar told me, from his grandfather, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "When one of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for indeed Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
