حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْكَنُودِ قَالَ أَصَبْتُ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِي بَعْضِ الْمَغَازِي فَلَبِسْتُهُ فَأَتَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَوَضَعَهُ بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ فَمَضَغَهُ وَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُتَخَتَّمَ بِخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ أَوْ قَالَ بِحَلَقَةِ الذَّهَبِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad and from Abu Sa'd, from Abu al-Kanud, who said: I acquired a gold ring from some of the military expeditions, so I wore it. I came to 'Abdullah, and he took it and put it between his jaws and chewed it, and said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade wearing a ring of gold' — or he said — 'a band of gold.'
