Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us - and Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan - from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Habibah al-Ta'i, from Abu al-Darda'. Abd al-Rahman said in his narration: I met Abu al-Darda' and he said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'The parable of one who frees a slave at the time of death is like the one who gives gifts when he is already full.'"
