حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَتَذَاكَرُ مَا يَكُونُ إِذْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِجَبَلٍ زَالَ عَنْ مَكَانِهِ فَصَدِّقُوا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِرَجُلٍ تَغَيَّرَ عَنْ خُلُقِهِ فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوا بِهِ وَإِنَّهُ يَصِيرُ إِلَى مَا جُبِلَ عَلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, my father narrated to us. He said: I heard Yunus narrating from al-Zuhri, that Abu al-Darda' said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) discussing what would happen, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you hear that a mountain has moved from its place, believe it. But if you hear that a man has changed his character, do not believe it, for he will return to what he was created upon."
