حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَشَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَقَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ مَوْلَاتِهَا أُمِّ إِسْحَاقَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَأَكَلَتْ مَعَهُ وَمَعَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَنَاوَلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرْقًا فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ إِسْحَاقَ أَصِيبِي مِنْ هَذَا فَذَكَرْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ صَائِمَةً فَرَدَدْتُ يَدِي لَا أُقَدِّمُهَا وَلَا أُؤَخِّرُهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا لَكِ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ صَائِمَةً فَنَسِيتُ فَقَالَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ الْآنَ بَعْدَمَا شَبِعْتِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتِمِّي صَوْمَكِ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Bashshar ibn 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us, and he said: Umm Hakim bint Dinar narrated to me, from her mistress Umm Ishaq, that she was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and a bowl of sopped bread was brought, so she ate with him, and Dhu al-Yadayn was with him too. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, handed her a bone with meat and said: O Umm Ishaq, take some of this. Then I remembered that I was fasting, so I withdrew my hand, neither advancing it nor drawing it back. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: What is wrong with you? She said: I was fasting, but I forgot. Dhu al-Yadayn said: Now, after you have eaten your fill! The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Complete your fast, for it is only provision that Allah has sent your way.
