حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقُولُ أَعْتَقْتُ وَلِيدَةً فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan bin Musa told us: Ibn Lahi'ah told us: Bukayr bin al-Ashajj told me, from Kurayb, the freedman of Ibn 'Abbas, that he said: I heard Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "I freed a slave-girl during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and I mentioned that to him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: 'Had you given her to your maternal relatives, it would have been greater in reward for you.'"
