Affan told us: Shu'bah told us: Abu Awn informed me: I heard Abdullah b. Shaddad b. al-Had relate: Marwan said, "How can we ask anyone about anything when among us are the wives of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" So he sent to Umm Salamah and asked her, and she said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon me, and I pulled a shoulder-cut of meat from a pot for him, and he ate from it, then went out to prayer."
