حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ مَمْلَكٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ يُسَبِّحُ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَهَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ فَيَرْقُدُ مِثْلَ مَا صَلَّى ثُمَّ يَسْتَيْقِظُ مِنْ نَوْمَتِهِ تِلْكَ فَيُصَلِّي مِثْلَ مَا نَامَ وَصَلَاتُهُ الْآخِرَةُ تَكُونُ إِلَى الصُّبْحِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad b. Bakr and 'Abd al-Razzaq told us, they said Ibn Jurayj told us, he said 'Abdullah b. Abi Mulaykah informed me - 'Abd al-Razzaq said: 'Abdullah b. Abi Mulaykah said Ya'la b. Mamlak informed me that he asked Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), about the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer at night. She said: "He would pray the last night prayer ['Isha'], then glorify [Allah in supererogatory prayer], then pray after it as much as Allah willed of the night, then he would withdraw and sleep as long as he had prayed, then he would wake from that sleep and pray as long as he had slept - and his final prayer would extend to the dawn."
