Abida ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Mansur ibn al-Mu'tamir, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: We set out with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and we thought of nothing but the Hajj. She said: When we arrived, they circumambulated, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Let whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him exit the state of ihram." She said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, had a sacrificial animal with him. She said: I was menstruating, so I was not able to circumambulate. Then on the night of al-Hasba, I said, "O Messenger of God, your wives will return with both a Hajj and an Umrah, while I return with only a Hajj." He said to me, "Go with your brother Abd al-Rahman to al-Tan'im," then he set an appointed time between us. She said: I met him at night while he was descending or ascending. She said: And the daughter of Huyayy said, "I see myself as nothing but the one detaining you all." The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her, "May you be afflicted, may you be bereaved (an expression, not a curse) - I see myself as nothing but the one detaining you all? Did you not circumambulate on the Day of Sacrifice?" She said, "Yes indeed." The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her, "Then set off." Husayn narrated to us, he said: Shayban narrated to us, from Mansur, who mentioned it with its chain and its meaning.
