حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَبَّانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي الْحُجْرَةِ وَأَنَا فِي الْبَيْتِ فَيَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ الشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ بِتَسْلِيمٍ يُسْمِعُنَاهُ.

Abu al-Mughirah told us: al-Awza'i told us: Usamah ibn Zayd told me: Zaban ibn Abd al-Aziz told me: Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz told me, from A'isha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray in the chamber while I was in the room, and he would separate between the pairs of rak'ahs and the witr with a salam that he made us hear.
