Abd al-Samad narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Zayd narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Aishah: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned a hardship that would occur just before the Dajjal, so they said, "What wealth would be best on that day?" He said, "A strong young servant who provides his family with water, for as for food, there will be none." They said, "Then what will be the food of the believers on that day?" He said, "Glorification, sanctification, praise, and declaring Allah's oneness." Aishah said, "Then where will the Arabs be on that day?" He said, "The Arabs on that day will be few."
