حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّها قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كُلُّ أَهْلِكَ قَدْ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ غَيْرِي فَقَالَ أَرْسِلِي إِلَى شَيْبَةَ فَيَفْتَحَ لَكِ الْبَابَ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ شَيْبَةُ مَا اسْتَطَعْنَا فَتْحَهُ فِي جَاهِلِيَّةٍ وَلَا إِسْلَامٍ بِلَيْلٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلِّي فِي الْحِجْرِ فَإِنَّ قَوْمَكَ اسْتَقْصَرُوا عَنْ بِنَاءِ الْبَيْتِ حِينَ بَنَوْهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan narrated to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Aishah, that she said, "O Messenger of Allah, all your household have entered the House (the Ka'bah) except me." He said, "Send to Shaybah so that he may open the door for you." So she sent to him, but Shaybah said, "We have not been able to open it at night, neither in the Age of Ignorance nor in Islam." So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Pray in the Hijr, for your people fell short in building the House when they built it."
