Isma'il told us: Ayyub told us, from Abu Qilabah, from Mu'adhah, who said: A woman asked Aishah, "Does the menstruating woman make up the prayer?" She said, "Are you a Kharijite? We used to menstruate during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would not make up the prayers, nor were we commanded to make them up."
