حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ أَبُو مُرَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا نَفِيسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ كُنْتُ فِي الْوَفْدِ الَّذِي أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَالَ وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّمَا كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي قَالَ فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ الَّتِي سَمِعْتُمْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Harith ibn Murrah al-Hanafi, Abu Murrah, told us: Nafis told us, from Abdullah ibn Jabir al-Abdi, who said: I was among the delegation that came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from Abd al-Qays -- he said: and I was not one of them, but I was with my father -- he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade them from drinking from the vessels you have heard of: the gourd, the green pitcher, the hollowed-out palm trunk, and the tar-coated vessel.
