انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated to us by Waki', who narrated to us: Shu'bah, from al-Hakam, from Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, who said: Hudhayfah asked a Persian landholder, or a non-Arab peasant, for water, so he brought him a silver vessel, and he flung it back at him. Then he turned to the people, offering an apology, and said: "I only did that to him deliberately, because I had forbidden him before this — the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade us from wearing brocade and silk, and from vessels of gold and silver, and said: 'It is theirs in this world, and it is ours in the Hereafter.'"
