حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى وَنَزَّلَهُمْ مَنَازِلَهُمْ وَقَالَ لِيَنْزِلْ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ هَاهُنَا وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْمَنَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَالْأَنْصَارُ هَاهُنَا وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِلْ النَّاسُ حَوْلَهُمْ قَالَ وَعَلَّمَهُمْ مَنَاسِكَهُمْ فَفُتِحَتْ أَسْمَاعُ أَهْلِ مِنًى حَتَّى سَمِعُوهُ وَهُمْ فِي مَنَازِلِهِمْ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.

Abd ar-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar informed us, from Humayd al-A'raj, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim at-Taymi, from Abd ar-Rahman ibn Mu'adh, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to the people at Mina and assigned them their camping places, and said: Let the Emigrants (Muhajirun) camp here - pointing to the right side of the Qibla - and the Helpers (Ansar) here - pointing to the left side of the Qibla - then let the rest of the people camp around them. He said: And he taught them their rites, and the hearing of the people of Mina was opened up so that they heard him while they were in their dwellings. He said: I heard him say: Throw the stones at the jamra like small pebbles for throwing. Abd as-Samad told us: My father told me: Humayd ibn Qays told us, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim at-Taymi, from Abd ar-Rahman ibn Mu'adh at-Taymi, who said: he was among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to us - and he mentioned the hadith.
