حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ أَوْ جُهَيْنَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ الْأَضْحَى بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ بِيَوْمَيْنِ أَعْطَوْا جَذَعَيْنِ وَأَخَذُوا ثَنِيًّا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْجَذَعَةَ تُجْزِئُ مِمَّا تُجْزِئُ مِنْهُ الثَّنِيَّةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Asim ibn Kulayb, from his father, from a man of Muzayna or Juhayna, who said: The Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when it was a day or two before the sacrifice (Adha), used to give a young sheep (jadha'a) in exchange and take an older one (thaniyy). The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The jadha'a suffices for what the thaniyya suffices for.
