حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكَلَتْنَا الضَّبُعُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرُ الضَّبُعِ عِنْدِي أَخْوَفُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ الضَّبُعِ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا سَتُصَبُّ عَلَيْكُمْ صَبًّا فَيَا لَيْتَ أُمَّتِي لَا تَلْبَسُ الذَّهَبَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from a man, that a bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the hyena (drought/famine) has eaten us up." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Something other than the hyena is, in my view, more to be feared for you than the hyena - indeed, the world will be poured out upon you in torrents; would that my nation not wear gold!
