Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us — and I myself heard it from Harun ibn Ma'ruf — Ibn Wahb informed us: Abu Sakhr narrated to me that Abu Hazim narrated to him, he said: I heard Sahl ibn Sa'd say: I witnessed a gathering of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in which he described Paradise until he finished, then said at the end of his speech: In it is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived. Then he recited this verse: Their sides forsake their beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend out of what We have provided them. No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for the eyes, as reward for what they used to do.
