Abu al-Yaman narrated to us: Ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Aqil ibn Mudrik al-Sulami, from Luqman ibn Amir, from Abu Rashid al-Hubrani, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever worships Allah, associating nothing with Him, establishes the prayer, gives the zakah, hears and obeys - Allah, Exalted is He, will admit him through whichever of the gates of Paradise he wishes, and it has eight gates. And whoever worships Allah, associating nothing with Him, establishes the prayer, gives the zakah, and hears but disobeys - Allah, Exalted is He, has the choice regarding him: if He wills He shows him mercy, and if He wills He punishes him.
