حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى { لَهُمْ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ } فَقَالَ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَوْ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ قَالَ تِلْكَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us, Aban told us, Yahya told me, from Abu Salamah, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, that he asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about the words of Allah, Blessed and Exalted, {For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter}?" He said, "You have indeed asked me about something no one from my nation, nor anyone before you, has asked me about. That is the righteous vision which the righteous man sees, or that is seen for him."
