Ishaq ibn Yusuf told us, Sharik told us, from Ya'la ibn Ataa, from a man who told him that he heard Abu Umamah al-Bahili say: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he stood for prayer, would say "Allahu Akbar" three times, then say "There is no god but Allah" three times, and "Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him" three times, then he would say: "I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, from his madness, his puffing pride, and his poetry."
