Al-Walid ibn Muslim told us, Ibn Jabir told us, that Abu al-Musabbih al-Awza'i told them, saying: While we were traveling along the road of Qalamiyah, a man leading his horse across the side of the mountain called out to the commander Malik ibn Abdullah al-Khath'ami: O Abu Abdullah, will you not ride? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever's feet become dusty in the way of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, for an hour of the day, they are forbidden to the Fire.
