حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ الْأَخْضَرِ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ وَجَّهَهُ وِجْهَةً فَقُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَا الَّذِي عَهِدَ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أُغِيرَ عَلَى أُبْنَى صَبَاحًا ثُمَّ أُحَرِّقَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Muthanna told us, Salih ibn al-Akhdar told me, al-Zuhri told me, from Urwah, from Usamah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had directed him toward a certain destination, but the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away before he set out. Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, asked him: What did he charge you to do? He said: He charged me to raid Ubna at dawn, then burn it.
