حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ و حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ أَعْمَالِكُمْ قَالَ مَكِّيٌّ وَأَزْكَاهَا عِنْدَ مَلِيكِكُمْ وَأَرْفَعِهَا فِي دَرَجَاتِكُمْ وَخَيْرٍ لَكُمْ مِنْ إِعْطَاءِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَخَيْرٍ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْ تَلْقَوْا عَدُوَّكُمْ فَتَضْرِبُوا أَعْنَاقَهُمْ وَيَضْرِبُوا أَعْنَاقَكُمْ قَالُوا وَذَلِكَ مَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ذِكْرُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Abdullah ibn Sa'id: a freedman of Ibn Ayyash told me, from Abu Bahriyyah; and my father told us: Makki told us: Abdullah ibn Sa'id told us, from Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abu Bahriyyah, from Abu al-Darda, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds' - Makki said: 'and the purest of them in the sight of your Sovereign, and the highest of them in your ranks, and better for you than giving gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy so that you strike their necks and they strike your necks?' They said: 'What is that, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'The remembrance of Allah, Mighty and Majestic.'
