حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْأَشْتَرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ ذَرٍّ قَالَتْ لَمَّا حَضَرَتْ أَبَا ذَرٍّ الْوَفَاةُ قَالَتْ بَكَيْتُ فَقَالَ مَا يُبْكِيكِ قَالَتْ وَمَا لِي لَا أَبْكِي وَأَنْتَ تَمُوتُ بِفَلَاةٍ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَلَا يَدَ لِي بِدَفْنِكَ وَلَيْسَ عِنْدِي ثَوْبٌ يَسَعُكَ فَأُكَفِّنَكَ فِيهِ قَالَ فَلَا تَبْكِي وَأَبْشِرِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَمُوتُ بَيْنَ امْرَأَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ وَلَدَانِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَيَصْبِرَانِ أَوْ يَحْتَسِبَانِ فَيَرِدَانِ النَّارَ أَبَدًا وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيَمُوتَنَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْكُمْ بِفَلَاةٍ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ يَشْهَدُهُ عِصَابَةٌ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَيْسَ مِنْ أُولَئِكَ النَّفَرِ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا وَقَدْ مَاتَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ أَوْ جَمَاعَةٍ وَإِنِّي أَنَا الَّذِي أَمُوتُ بِفَلَاةٍ وَاللَّهِ مَا كَذَبْتُ وَلَا كُذِبْتُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ishaq ibn Isa told us: Yahya ibn Sulaym told me, from Abd Allah ibn Uthman, from Mujahid, from Ibrahim ibn al-Ashtar, from his father, from Umm Dharr, who said: When death approached Abu Dharr, I wept. He said: "What makes you weep?" She said: "How could I not weep, when you are dying in a wasteland of the earth, and I have no one to help me bury you, and I have no garment large enough to shroud you in?" He said: "Do not weep, and rejoice, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'No two children, or three, die between two Muslim [parents] such that they show patience or seek reward, but that they will never enter the Fire.' And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'A man among you will surely die in a wasteland of the earth, witnessed by a group of believers.' And there is not one of that group but has died in a village or a community, and I am the one who will die in a wasteland. By Allah, I have not lied, nor have I been lied to."
