حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ مُوسَى بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُتَيٍّ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مَطْعَمَ ابْنِ آدَمَ جُعِلَ مَثَلًا لِلدُّنْيَا وَإِنْ قَزَّحَهُ وَمَلَّحَهُ فَانْظُرُوا إِلَى مَا يَصِيرُ.

Abdullah told us, Muhammad ibn Abdur-Rahim, Abu Yahya al-Bazzaz, told us, Abu Hudhayfah Musa ibn Mas'ud told us, Sufyan told us, from Yunus ibn Ubayd, from al-Hasan, from Utayy, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The food of the son of Adam has been made an example for this world; even if he spices it and salts it, look at what it becomes in the end."
