قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَجَدْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَن عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَن أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَتْ أَسْلَمُ وَغِفَارُ خَيْرًا مِنْ الْحَلِيفَيْنِ أَسَدٍ وَغَطَفَانَ أَتَرَوْنَهُمْ خَسِرُوا قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَتْ مُزَيْنَةُ وَجُهَيْنَةُ خَيْرًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ وَعَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَرَفَعَ حَمَّادٌ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ يَحْكِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَرَوْنَهُمْ خَسِرُوا قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I found this hadith in my father's book, in his own handwriting: Ubaydullah ibn Muhammad told us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, from Abu Bakrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do you see - if Aslam and Ghifar were better than the two allies Asad and Ghatafan, would you think they had lost out?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Then do you see - if Muzaynah and Juhaynah were better than Banu Tamim and Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah" - and Hammad raised his voice with it, imitating the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - "would you think they had lost out?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Then they are indeed better than them."
