حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ مَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ قَالَ فَأَيُّ النَّاسِ شَرٌّ قَالَ مَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ وَسَاءَ عَمَلُهُ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ يُونُسَ وَحُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus b. Muhammad narrated to us: Hammad — meaning Ibn Salama — narrated to us, from 'Ali b. Zayd, from 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakra, from his father, that a man said: "O Messenger of God, who among the people is best?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are good." He said: "Then who among the people is worst?" He said: "He whose life is long and whose deeds are bad." Yunus — meaning Ibn Muhammad — narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us, from Yunus and Humayd, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakra, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it.
